Forest ecosystems - trees, soil, undergrowth, all living things in a forest - are
critical to maintaining life on earth for us and our future generations.
As of January 2011, more than 330 million acres of forest in 81 countries have received
FSC certification. About 40% of these certifications are located in Europe, 40% in
North America, 9% in South America, 5% in Asia and 5% in Africa.
All Adriano wood chairs use FSC certification wood from European forests that are
monitored and safeguarded. Our product quality is the result of our careful selection
of materials and direct supervision of processes carried out by our suppliers.
Adriano is dedicated to programs that recycle industrial waste from manufacturing
and distribution activities. Our company recycles or reuses most shipping materials,
implements a recycle program at our headquarters and donates old product samples.
We have chosen to use materials that are always in agreement with the highest environmental
requirements, low formaldehyde emissions, water based finishing systems, recycle
materials and FSC certified lumber.
Wood components, polypropylene and metal frame products can be 100% recycled. Our
fully upholstered chairs are made entirely at our facility in the US, using engineered
hardwood frames with corner joints, webbing and high density foam that meets the
flammability requirements of California Bureau of Home Furnishings "Technical Bulletin
